Hi, I'm Raymond Hockersmith

Why I Started Driftocity

I got tired of watching small business owners get ripped off. They'd pay $2,000–$5,000 to an agency and get back a slow WordPress site built on a $59 template — with a monthly "maintenance" fee on top of it. Then they'd wonder why nobody was calling.

I know how to build websites the right way — from scratch, in clean code, optimized for speed and search. And I know how to build AI tools that actually solve real problems in the field. So I put both together under one roof.

Driftocity is the answer for businesses who want professional work at a price that doesn't require a business loan.

What I Build

Custom websites — hand-coded from scratch for contractors, service businesses, and local companies across Indiana and nationwide. No templates, no builders, no bloat. Fast load times, clean code, built to rank on Google.

AI SaaS tools — EstimatePro (AI estimating for general contractors, now on Google Play) and GeoClock (GPS geofence time tracking for field crews). Both built flat-rate, both solving real problems I heard contractors talk about.

Custom AI builds — if you have a workflow problem that software doesn't solve, I'll build you something that does. Flat-rate pricing, 1–3 week turnaround.

How I Work

Fast and direct. No discovery phase that drags on for weeks. No project kickoff decks. No account manager relaying your feedback to the actual developer. You talk to me, I build it, we refine it together, it goes live.

I build lean because I run lean. That's why I can deliver a professional custom website for $599 while agencies charge $3,000 for the same output.
